The prohibition of carrying a concealed weapon, with a permit, in a commercial vehicle is a common misconception. I've asked multiple DOT Troopers about it and none in Oklahoma, Kansas or Texas has had a problem with it; to most of them it's a "I'm Not a Felon" declaration. If you drive a commercial motor vehicle in other states, like Illinois, California or New York, etc., you had better know exactly what their laws are.
