On that same day, the New York Times claimed, “The grim truth is that concealed-carry permit holders are rarely involved in stopping crime.”


That statement makes it sound like every CC holder is a vigilante hunting for criminals. Stopping crime isn’t the primary purpose of CC. The purpose is to protect yourself and others from harm.
