Have you ever got stuck in one and as you drove around you kept saying “hey kids, it’s Big Ben/parliament??

Not the reference to British things, but when we worked in Indiana this summer, one of our jobs was to collect road data on roads, including roundabouts. Occasionally, the state wanted data collected from two different spots within the roundabout (yeah, they are strange). Under those circumstances, I would have to keep circling the roundabout until the wife found the second "record" to work and do it.

Trust me, one can get dizzy in those after about 4 or 5 times around.

We lived in Charlotte, NC in the early 80's and there was a roundabout that had (if my memory is right) 5 streets running off from it. Every street is Queens... (lane, st, blvd, etc)
