I'm creating as we call it in the military a phone/recall roster. With cell phones nowadays we rely on our contact roster in our phones. I only know my and my wife's numbers. If something were to happen to my cell phone/me I would be screwed. So I pulled up an old Army recall roster ppt and replacing the names and numbers with family and close friends, and bosses that would need to be contacted in any emergency. It also includes estranged members of the family, I might not care for you, but you need to know something.

That's actually a very good idea. Need to do that also. I have an old index type notebook made for keeping phone numbers, addresses etc. I needed an old number from someone I knew decades ago and low and behold it was in the book and the number was still good.

In a round about way that's how we ended up retiring to Oklahoma. An old high school buddy was going through some old paperwork and found our old number from HS. He called the number Mom answered long story short we ended up here. BTW we are very blessed to have been able to end up here. We absolutely love this state!
