If it's close enough, and you were moving at highway speeds, yeah, it's entirely possible. Could even have been a road construction sign, you just caught it at the right angle to only see the supports and warning light. At 70mph, you're moving a bit more than 100 feet every second, so anything close to the interstate is going to move out of view pretty quickly.

That's what I was getting at. 60MPH equals like 88 feet in a second. Easy to take a pick and then pass a sign post or tower near the road in follow up picture...which would appear to be passing by faster than objects in the distance.

It's an image artifact caused by the rolling shutter in the camera. If you do a search for "rolling shutter lightning", you'll see lots of examples.

Looks like a tower with an obstruction light on top...caught while you were in motion.
