I’m not a green guy but we have an electric push mower that we use to harvest food for the rabbits. I have a solar panel set up to charge a battery that charges the mower. Feed is the weakest point of any homestead I would think.

Most of the push mowers in the stores I have been in are now electric. Theres a few gas push mowers but a majority of the selections are now electric.
