Counting Shots

How many times has your favorite western hero been shot in the shoulder and still fights and wins and is back next week good as new?

Ya just need a shot of whisky for the pain and a bullet to bite on while Doc digs out the bullet.

Thats about like the shotgun blast that will lift a grown man off his feet and send him flying across the room ,thru a door and into the next room.

That's what it felt like when I was 10 yrs old and 2 squirrels running up a tree I thought required both barrels on my granddad's side by side 12g greener. I realized that was nothing later compared to the whopping I got due to the scratch on that shotgun from that incident.

I have seen movies where the round count is legit.
One movie that really kills me I think is American sniper.
I could be wrong on the name, I am terrible with names.

Anyway the guy is reloading his own ammo and is pouring the powder from the scale pan into the case and lots of powder misses going into the case.

If you are going to show hand loading clips get it right.

I get a kick out of noticing how all the cop shows have the detective/officer rack a round into the chamber when approaching danger. Who carries with an empty chamber??!!

In the Bruce Campbell classic movie "Army of Darkness" his trusty boomstick (a side by side 12 Gauge could fire 6 or more shots before he could break it open, eject two shells and put in two new ones. I think Sam Raimi did that on purpose.
