You could always demand them to refund your money for original bullets and shipping, and powder used. Threaten to share the information on OSA. Demand they find the last of the old style bullets and ship you 500 more with free overnight shipping.

It would be good to see video of the reaction to those demands by Hornady employees.

Mr. Swwisher,

Depending on how old the bullets, you last purchased, are that bullet easily could have had an ogive change which would certainly explain all of the "differences" that you have mentioned. Thus, rather than being shoddy manufacturing this is done by design to make the bullet more efficient.

Thanks,

i have not weighed them but i will

I went and shot them yesterday that gusty windy day.
They shoot just the same
I shot some 30-30 model 94 loads also the upper left area of the paper are those.
The circled shots are the 30-06
2 rounds shot at 100 and 2 at 200 yards with a short OAL
2 rounds shot at 100 and 2 at 200 yards with a long OAL.

Now need to go shoot on a non windy day..
I did get some firewood while i was out .. so a good win win day. black walnut 30-30-06 003.jpgblack walnut 30-30-06 002.jpg
