I’m trying to educate myself on cryptocurrency and not having muck luck. I guess I am too simple minded to understand. Ha! Can anyone educate me in simple language on buying, selling and storing cryptocurrency? Any help would be appreciated!

I sort of think it's better to rent our your pc's to mine it rather than buy/trade it. Just costs you electricity

My opinion on "craptocurrency"....if I can't hold it in my hand or wallet, it ain't real and any peckerhead hacker can steal me blind without risk of being shot for his troubles.

I have no qualms with crypto currency, I have qualms though with Central Bank Digital Currency. Crypto is unregulated and in some ways like a stock. CBDC is a method of controlling how you may spend your money and is "the Mark of the Beast..."

Personally I like precious metals, I think crypto may be a thing, but easy to steal and it will get much worse. The gov'ts don't like crypto, they feel they should be regulating all currency.

If you want to buy bitcoin, etherium, doge or a other crypto currencies you need to go to a cryptocurrency exchange (similar in concept to a broker, like etrade or swab stock brokerages.) I had used coinbase.com for a while. You can by crypto and exchange it for other crypto, and sell crypto to get it into your bank accounts. Crypto's underlying value is based on demand for a particular crypto currency and it's scarcity based on simply an encryption algorithm (a program that states only so much can be issued.) The codes may be kept at a cryptocurrency exchange or in a crypto wallet (a glorified usb drive.) You can even print the code and store it in a safe!

Neat tech, but based on NOTHING however holds value.
