Decorated Combat Veteran arrested in New York: Charged with 5 felonies for possession AR magazines.

I trust this is not a repeat.

I read this a short time ago and was totally stunned by how idiotic this is - especially if it 'was' done before the new 'Gun Restrictions' were put into place. Are these folks too aggressive, stoopid or just plain idjits? Sure glad that when I visited New York in 1969 it was the only time I would ever be there. Take some time to read the comments posted also ......

From '94 to '04 anyone, except law enforcement, would have faced the same penalty for possessing those particular mags.

New York enacted their own extention of the '94 AWB. I'm with you though.

As stupid as the laws are, it is a shooters responsibility to know them... He'll get just punishment, whether it's a slap on the hands or not.
