My cop brother in law had a ND into his thigh while attempting to holster his concealed carry XD9, and to this day, he claims he didn’t pull the trigger. I’ve told him a hundred time that the trigger didn’t pull itself.🤣
I had my first ND about 7-8 years ago. I put a 5.56 throught my driver's window, and blew the mirror off the side of the car. (The round then went directly into a railroad tie. I told everyone on my local gun forum about it that very night.

I was 100% at fault. Telling literally everybody about it was my penance. I keep that tradition whenever the subject comes up, because I don't wanna ever forget.

Finger on trigger while holstering a Glock would be statistically likely.
He retrieved a pistol, loaded it and went to holster it I bet.
Literally thousands of cops and civilians have Glocked a floor before. One big reason I carry a 1911.
This is why I'm a firm believer in the striker safety device, combined with practiced caution while re-holstering.
