Yes, it sounds all well and good to let them collapse, but what do you think would be the effect of a hundred million people in a state of riot or civil war on our southern border? You think we have border jumping now? Wait until it becomes a matter of out-and-out survival for entire families. You think they're violent now? Wait until their lives are literally at stake.
I don't want to support them any more than you do, but there are practical concerns with simply letting them collapse.
I personally believe that those who live in border states WILL HAVE TO TAKE UP ARMS soon just to protect themselves from violence that is going to spill over the border. It is inevitable. The local LE and even the milatary are not prepared to deal with that type of violence.
I want to know why we are spending millions on anti tank weapons when we could just be using a few barret 50's.
