How many decimal places should the digital caliper show? I saw one at Harbor Freight and it shows two decimal places. Like x.xx. Is this ok or do we need one that goes to 3 places.
Standard rule of thumb is three digits (.xxx) is metric and four digits (.xxxx) is inch. I'd stay away from the 2 digits. With .010" minimum resolution they aren't even good enough for woodworking much less reloading IMO.
Get a dial caliper.........
