In my opinion, they are eating Joe alive pinning him down on specific issues when he was VP and he has no answers.

In his closing statement Joe was splaining how terrible 8 more years of Trump would be. Didn't know that was an option but let's do it. Lol

I loved it when going to commercial, the side bar called the venue the democratic discussion hall when in reality it’s the FOX theater.

One more debate with zero American flags in the background other than a video version right after the Anthem that quickly went away.
I loved Kamala Harris opening statement about immediately banning importation of assault weapons (see what she did here?) while a Veteran of Foreign war carried one while presenting the colors.

Based on my ten minute sample heard while driving home last night:
They kept the real players for the second night. Night one debaters had pathetic presentation skills. Night two debaters were, in general, far more polished and effective at making feel good/sound good points. Biden lagged behind the crowd.

They are all just jockeying to present their best sound bites at this point. The real contest will look entirely different once they are forced to provide a defense of their positions and their past failings.

The problem is no one is ever going to force them to do that. They don’t even answer the questions and the moderators seldom push them at all.

Night one only got about 10 mil viewers. The staunch dems I work with said they didn’t and won’t watch them. They know the bullet points and will vote for whoever is running with a D next to their name.

And that is what has brought us to where we are today. Far too many voters only vote for the D or the R, and never attempt to learn anything about those running. It has become nothing more than "us vs. them".
