Let me match my Christmas to yours.
Eighty plus year old Mother in law had a clot in her leg and almost lost it. Daily visits for last two weeks and more to come. Trying to get her home.
Wife's eighty plus year old aunt had a stroke two days ago and is touch and go.
My son's been in the Marines almost a year and got to come home for 7 days starting today. So what did I decide to do?

How about have my appendix out tomorrow.

True story. Both of my labs got sprayed by skunks about 4 nights ago.
The aunts cat has a tumor and is dying.
I'm poa for the aunt and someone stole her Discover card while she is at the hospital. We were getting texts of it being used at 1145 last night. Shutting it down at midnight.
Now that I think about it, I really did win.
