Do you guys/gals ever sleep?

I’m a ‘Anti-Sleeper’, my doctors term.

It was helpful back when I worked and had deadlines.

Currently I’m on a max dose of Ambien extended release and average between 4-8 a day. Nothing regular about it either.

FWIW, Ambien works better on an empty stomach

I GET TWO HOURS AND WAKE UP IN PAIN.

Yep. I have been known to go 72 hours without sleeping -- usually when the weather is acting up. Causes my pain levels to just skyrocket.

Before Grumpy met me he was hell and gone against any kind of pain meds, except OTC stuff. I distinctly remember him telling me anyone who took anything stronger was a junkie just looking for the high. He knows better now.

I wouldn't wish chronic pain issues or the inability to get decent sleep off in my worst enemy.

Usually eat supper around 6 (typically my smallest meal) and go to bed around 10.

Been a 'night owl' all my life (I remember back to age seven, and my mother used to claim that I started at age three!). I do my best work between 10pm and 3am. I sleep about five hours, and awaken at around 8am or so. Eh, works for me...

It’s gonna be one of those weeks. I could have been at work at 2,3,4 etc. I dosed til about 4:45 and came to work. I’ll make up for it in a week or so. It’s just my cycle.

5-6 hours a night is normal but sometimes I stay up real late and still get up early.
