I have the task of making a raised bed garden for my Son-in-law. I thought about wood but I think a couple of old stock tanks will work better.
I did that and found out the treated wood's chemicals were stunting my plants. No stock tanks, but I made some with treated 2x12s about 4 years ago. Still holding up well. Railroad ties work too if you can get help carrying them. Line the bottom with landscape fabric first.
Really? I never had a problem. My okra was higher than me. We use miracle grow on them though so it might be 6/1 half dozen of another.I did that and found out the treated wood's chemicals were stunting my plants.

There aren't any arsenic boards sold in the USA anymore. Current boards have no health concerns. And your health.
