Does anyone own a Savage A22 or B22 Precision Rifle?

I'm seriously considering buying one or the other,,,
But I haven't found one locally to fondle.

Also I have some operational questions that the manuals and ads don't answer.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was just searching for an A22 about an hour ago. I am a big fan of the 22WMR cartridge and am thinking about an A22 with a collapsible stock.

• Does the Semi-auto A22 bolt hold open after the last shot?
• Does the Aluminum chassis (A22 or B22) have an M-Lock bar under the fore-stock?
