I saw your question—really interesting topic. I’ve actually been curious about the same thing, especially since I got into thc vapes recently. I usually stick to flower, but I tried THC vape carts a few times and noticed my heart rate did spike a bit more than usual. I don’t have any major health issues, but it got me wondering about the risks too. I think you're right that other things like caffeine, stress, or even heavy workouts can also raise your heart rate, and it might just depend on what your body can handle. It's probably smart to be mindful, especially if someone already has heart conditions. Just gotta weigh those pros and cons!

This is anecdotal, but it is based in truth. I've had carrots and I've had peas. I've even had them from the same can! So, I can't discern which of them has caused my 6 heart attacks over the last 28 years. That said, I like them both - not as much as bacon, mind you - and I will continue to eat them. :coffee2:

I pray that my recently installed pacemaker will allow me to enjoy those peas and carrots - and the bacon - for many years to come! :Heya:

Eh - who needs pot when peas and carrots are readily available!?!? :anyone:

I no longer use it for a couple of reasons, not the least of which its still illegal at a federal level, posting about using it on a firearms site seems sketchy. Allowing for that, I would add to this conversation:

Your lungs were made for air, not smoke. You wouldnt put kerosene in your gas tank, dont put smoke in your lungs. If you want the benefits of cannabis, use edibles; your stomach is made for digesting things.

Yes weed can cause a heart attack. Bending over and pulling weeds has caused my heart to freak out several times to where I had to stop and go lay down until it passed. Or I did, whichever comes first.

Seriously I think people doing stupid crap while high has caused more heart attacks.

You're not supposed to pull them out of the ground. You can just pick the buds off.
