Only in Iowa and only by 2 points well with in the margin of error. I keep hearing we need some one more moderate, but we already tried that with McCain and Romney and lost big. We need someone that says the Libs are wrong that pc wrong and that's what trump does. People are tired of the Washington, D.C. ******** and politicians.

as Cruz begins to get more air time he will pull ahead based on ability - he just sponsored a bill in the senate that would allow governors to refuse Syrian immigrants...he is the right fit for the presidency his biggest drawback is his constant fight for what is right and for the Constitution....ticks off both parties....tip o my hat to the senator from Texas ...

While I agree in some areas Cruz may be better, I worry he has some neo-con leanings. His wife works for the FED and he supported the TPP. He has also espoused many of the "pro-war" tendencies of the establishment; including seeing Putin as the enemy instead of a potential ally (not to be fully trusted of course). But I agree, Cruz would be better than most alternatives if Trump fizzles out; I was a Rand supporter and Cruz & Paul have a similar voting record. Trump espouses similar views as the two of them but does have that "loose cannon" quality about him that they don't.
