Traded a spingfield 1911 for a .40 sigma sorry guys

On Form 4473, Section 11 f. Have you ever been adjudicated mentally defective (which includes having been adjudicated incompetent to manage your own affairs) or have you ever been commited to a mental institution?

Write in "Darn near, on that Springfield trade!"

In 85, I bought a nice Remignton semi-auto 30-06 with wood stock & foregrip for $350 new. In '99 I needed some money fast and sold it for $300. It only had less than 40 rounds through it. Now they sell for close to $700. I hated to do it.. but wasn't much choice at the time.

I think you guys are being too hard on yourselves. You're beating yourselves up for trading guns or selling them for $XXX back in 197X and comparing them to what their worth today.

Except for trading a Springer 1911 for a Sigma .40. That's a terrible deal no matter what point in time.

When I was 20ish I sold my AK, S&W .357, Winchester .22, and beretta 92fs because my then wife said I needed to. Sold them all way to cheap. Really want the beretta and Winchester back, my dad had bought them for me when I was a teenager.
