The only thing I hate is that my wife and daughter shed like crazy, so I'm always having to take scissors to the brush because it ends up looking like a giant hair curler, but that's going to happen with any vac.
When my brother tried selling them, he ran through his schpiel with us first. The vacuum did an outstanding job, but I did not care for their sales tactics (see my above comment about septic tanks). The only place I've seen with worse tactics is Craftmatic; that's some special kind of sleaze right there.Kirby vacuums are probably still superior (they definitely used to be), but the company is just below Al Qaeda in their business practices (don't ever sign anything to finance a kirby).
I tried selling Kirbys when I was just out of high-school for a time and couldn't stomach how badly they were screwing folks over.
