So had a trade offer for a gun I have listed. It is a marlin 1895 45-70 looks like its in good shape. Has the JM marked barrel and says made in north haven, CT. has the 92xxxxxx SE number so using the subtract the first two digits from 100 and that would put it in 2008, the first of the remington take over or right before???
I hear if its marked JM and 2008 or earlier its good to go but just wanting to make sure I dont get a lemon of a remlin!
