Legal filings reveal that the Democracy Defense Fund, which opposed the recall, received $25,000 from the National Education Association, $10,000 from SEIU, and $5,000 from the Colorado AFL-CIO. Records show that, by yesterday, Democracy Defense Fund had received $120,000. “And that’s just one organization opposing us,” McAlpine told me. “To give you some context, our average contribution is somewhere around $71. Every one but three of DDF’s contributions is in the thousands. They have big labor and Democrat money.”...

As someone who left NY to come back to Oklahoma (because of the NY Safe Act, grad school is cheeper etc.) It makes me happy to see Coloradans' stand up and actually make an impact. If more states like New York (upstate) actually recalled some of our politicians, we wouldn't be where we are. Good for Colorado and it makes an excellent point that Mikey Bloomberg and his anti-gun movement can't beat the will of the American people. Lets just hope more states with Anti 2nd Amend laws will follow Colorado's example.

The fact that this crap even happened in coloradah should be an eye opener of whats to come; it aint the same people as 20 yrs ago.
