Boycotting? Don't find it as important as the Presidential election? Or...? Just curious. You're not alone, based on the poll numbers.

Not a boycott. In all honesty, I dont think I have ever boycotted a single thing. Just laziness. I always vote in the local run-offs, but never make it to the polls for the big day.

Hey, at least you're honest about it - unlike most folks who say they voted, and never did (that has been my experience, at least, for people that I know for a fact didn't vote).

Anyway, I want to encourage you and everyone else to take time tomorrow to vote.

Yea, Most of us 200+ guys (and 200+++) start off with quite a bit of steam but putter out rather quick. Unless I need to go to the grocery store I really need a heap of motivation to leave my leather chair

Not being a smartarse, but what do you hope to achieve/prove by doing this? Just an open discussion, not taking too much of a shot at you. ;) Just wondering what the thought behind it is?

For me it would be the message. It's saying "neither of you deserve my vote, but since there's not a "None Of The Above" option, I'll just skip that line and vote for the ones on the ballot that do deserve my vote."

While I haven't done it to date, I've been sorely tempted on more than one occasion. I'll most likely hold my nose and draw a line on one of them, but it will piss me off when I do!

The only way this would work, is if there was an option of "X None of the above". They don't do any analysis to see if people voted for everything, except for Governor. All they do, is say that the voter must have mis-marked their Governor ballot, and the machine skipped it. No human ever sees the ballot, except in the case of a manual recount. There is no way to make a statement on the ballot, at this time, since they are machine scored.

Trust me, guys, I know where you're coming from. I wasn't exactly fired up to vote for McCain. However, nobody will ever convince me that our country is better off with BHO instead of McCain.

Except that had McC been elected, tomorrow would likely look very different. I doubt he'd have the economy in much better shape, and the Rs might be seeing some backlash.

I bet he wouldn't have tripled the deficit in the first 18 months of his presidency. At least on the point of the economy, I disagree with you. However, there are many things about McCain that make me want to puke.
