Tawana Glenda Brawley or Tawana Vicenia Brawley[1] (born December 15, 1971[1] or b. 1972[2]) is an African-American woman from Wappingers Falls, New York, who falsely accused four white men of raping her in 1987. The charges received widespread national attention because of her age (15), the persons accused (including police officers and a prosecuting attorney), and the state in which Brawley was found after the alleged rape. Brawley was found in a trash bag, with racial slurs written on her body and covered in feces on November 28, 1987. Brawley's advisers Al Sharpton, Alton H. Maddox and C. How does anyone, with 1/10 of a brain think that they can get away with anything like this? Just that fact that more than one person was involved means that someone will tell the truth at some point. There are cams everywhere, as in everywhere, electronic and video trails makes it near impossible to not be followed or seen. What an idiot.
