Estes Park Elk trip

Arrived yesterday with elk in town as usual!!!! Got to are AirBNB and that evening on the deck we played our recorded cow elk call off the phone. Look what showed up, like clockwork, praise the Lord for the view !!! We have bull elk, mule deer, and rabbits to watch all

from the comfort of the deck. Going to be a great week scooter !!

This was today at the golf course coming into Estes on the left, heard of 20 or more and the heard bull, small pond (lake in Colorado) to the left of Estes lake . Next weekend is the Estes Elk Fest, this weekend is the Gold Fest. Colors of the aspens are beautiful, will take some pictures when we go into Rockie Mountain National Park- Bear Lake Coridor. Will post pictures later when the elk show up this evening !!!!

I love Estes Park! I used to visit there once a year when I lived in Longmont. We used to see elk on the golf course.

Drove around today, elk are in the shape in peoples yards, it’s now clouding up with rain expected tonight/snow in the morning (wool-woop !!!!!)
