This has been going on for years. It's going to get worse. I get reminded every time I open an application on my phone and it asks it it can use my current location. I was looking at facebook this morning and saw where my daughter in law had posted something about my grandson from her phone. It gave the general location where she was when it was posted.

With technology of today, I don't think anyone could "get off the grid" and disappear if they wanted to.

Yes you can. Throw away the cell phone, and stay off a computer, pay cash, and one can pretty much dissapear. Technology is what is being used to track us.

Its a fine line in my opinion. Most people are too stupid and selfish to be making their own decisions. Deregulation lead to the housing market and finanial woes. That's what i expect when we put ourfaith in people doing the right thing. The best news of the day was the Wisconsinjudge ruling a guy stop procreating.

There is a whole lot of fail in this statement. Most people aren't stupid, and because of some misfortune in their lives, or events beyond their control like obama being in office destroying the economy, they have to live with the decisions of others, without any chance of changing it on their own.

Deregulation had no part in the housing market. I won't school you on it, but you really need to investigate what really caused it.

BTW, I never put my faith in anybody, political, religious, or whatever to make decisions in my life, or to do the "right thing for me". Anybody that does, is nieve, and totally out of touch.

If I did that, I'd be that guy in the alley sucking on some boonsfarm.
