Expect the Left to weaponize this case law against parents with firearms

There was a thread similar a while back, and this is a slippery slope.
People still think legislation is going to save this country and this planet. But laws and regulations are only useful when all people agree to follow them, this we all know. At some point, the inevitable will happen. Ban guns, knives, demonize constitutional americans and anyone who is a critical thinker.
Theyre making too much money off of the cartels.
It's the same case. The mother is the one who was tried first and convicted. Now this is the dad.
Was this the case where the parents knew the kid had major mental issues and supplied him with guns???

Two innocent people charged with a crime someone else committed. Hope the laws can now use this precedent to convict the parents of kids who kill others in car crashes. Would probably tend to affect those elites a little more.
But in reality, it's all a stupid butterfly effect mentality. Maybe if they hadn't bought him a particular toy at some point, he wouldn't have turned out like he did. Everyone wants to blame someone, just not those responsible.
Parents should be held more responsible for their kids.
kids will do whatever their friends feel is cool many times.
Nothing a parent can do about that.
Sometimes kids turn out great and other kids raised the same way become lunatics or drug addicts.
Even little habits can be picked up by friends.
