Did you notice any new cracked asphalt or concrete? When I was younger the concrete in my street had some weird combination of temp and water content and it buckled upward cracking the street from curb to curb.

That was LOUD.

Several months back...some retards fired a hi-power rifle into the upper part of a large oil tank at a well-site! KA-BLAMMO!!!

Was a Sunday morning before church and I both heard and felt it!!..was about 8 miles away!..I thought it was a massive earthquake until I heard sirens and saw the column of smoke.

A month or so before or after that Some dumkoff was welding on a oilfield saltwater tanker-trailer...KA-BLAMMO!!!!...

That guy was frikken lucky! Minor injurys(probably ruined his hearing too)...That was about 4 miles from my house...felt and heard it too!

Sonic booms sound like BA-BOOOM...and if close will shake the house good!

Could it have been an earthquake? The couple we had over by Norman a couple of years ago felt like a plane was crashing in our neighborhood over by Lake Overholser. Weirded me out ... I would have SWORN a plane had come down over here somewhere ...

I know exactly which one you are talking about. Sounded like a sonic boom at my house in Moore. I didn't feel a thing but I damn sure heard it.
