Extreme danger for US!

I couldn't help noticing that more people live on the East and West coast than the center of the US.
it seems to me that as long as the two sides are balanced, we are OK. Now, with the economy getting worse in California and people leaving, we are facing the real danger of an out of balance situation that could cause the US to tip over and capsize in the ocean.
