Sitting here watching V for Vendetta and i just thought if the film makers are all remaking movies lately it would be neat to see a remake of fahrenheit 451
My wife and I were watching Soylent Green the other night. She thought it would be a good movie to remake. I asked her why as there were no special effects to speak of that would benefit from the remake. It's supposed to be futuristic, so everything you see in is obviously dated due to it's age, but it still works as everything is in short supply. Fahrenheit 451 I don't think needs a remake either. I thought the original was pretty classy as the beginning credits were all spoken as writing was forbidden.
