So, who runs pickups on traffic patrols? I've seen county deputies in trucks in McClain County, and there's one from another county (not Pott County) that apparently lives in east Norman, as I frequently see him turning onto eastbound highway 9 while I'm on my morning commute, but I don't know if they run traffic. County mounties traditionally didn't, but with the commercialization of law enforcement begun by some in the late '90s, I've seen more deputies on apparent traffic stops...
I understand that OHP has a few that don't work traffic (at least not on patrol), and I would guess the Lake Patrol does, but I don't recall seeing any PDs running pickups. Anyone else?
