Thank you, everyone. This has been one of the most trying times I've had to live through. I won't feel better until my brother opens his eyes and is able to communicate. Right now I am positive that he will make a full recovery, but its the wait that fills you with dread. To see the amount of people on FB and in here that are keeping him and his family in thought is uplifting.

Sending prayers for them and you, as well, and I will make a contribution to the GoFundMe page, also. Tough time of year for everyone right now financially, but I have to remember how blessed we are to be healthy and safe. Please take comfort in the prayers of your friends here.

I do know that the Medi-flight is horribly expensive.
My wife was taken from Logan County Hosp to Mercy on Memorial in OKC, maybe a 20 mile flight. It was over $25,000 for the flight. That was several years ago.
The worst part, it was her first (and only) time in a helo, and she doesn't remember any of it.
Of course, she was in a medical coma, so there's that.
I can't even imagine what a flight from Ardmore to OKC would cost.
