ummm, you need to book better places than that with ALL that's in Vegas now, lol.

I had friends that worked at the Nugget back in the 90's, lol.
There's this cool vibe...early in the morning...sitting close to the sidewalk on Fremont. I know...bums, pigeons, city workers cleaning street...but the vibe is there.

You can feel the day's excitement coming...poker,craps,blackjack...then a good lunch ..steam room and massage by a cutie at the Golden Nugget spa.

That evening a sports coat, great dinner, go see a show with the wife...smoke cigars and drinks some bourbon or tequila with the guys at a poker table or blackjack..

Next morning, wake up early...run to the Fremont casino to get some Dunkin donuts and back to Starbucks again....

Starbucks for the win....

Right or wrong...conservative or liberal... it's coffee and Starbucks to me is like meth to an addict...yes I wish it was cheaper but you only live once so drink good coffee, bourbon and tequila...life is short so enjoy.

Buy the beans and have them grind it and enjoy at home....

I like the Starbucks in Nichols Hills and 23rd Street in OKC...

My favorite Starbucks...

1. Golden Nugget on Fremont Street.

2. Santa Fe on the Plaza

3. On the East side of Albuquerque is Starbucks owned by a pueblo and it's nice.

Komodo Dragon or nothing!!!
Good to see you back online! Long time no see.

I don’t think any of those places really serve fancy coffee, I would consider them to serve just okay coffee flavored drinks that are mostly sugar, milk and assorted flavors.

Fancy coffee to me is usually freshly roasted (either locally or regionally), made from coffee beans that were selected by the coffee roaster because of the particular region they were grown and even how the beans were processed. All so that particular flavors are brought out that are more than just the dark and sometime bitter coffee flavor that most people recognize as coffee. They don’t usually need anything added to make them enjoyable to sip.

Similar to drinking local craft beer versus a national craft beer or good old cheap American style lager. They all have their place.
