Back at ya JB!
And any of the rest of you that is applies too.
Been a long day, started off BBQing Chicken.
Then to the inlaws to eat.
Back home with the kids, we did some shooting this evening also.
All around a pretty good day.

Went to the range today. too blinking hot for much of anything else. My grass needs cut. That ain't gonna happen while this hot.

Shortly I'm going to go over to the park and walk a mile or so. I need to get back into shape...

the weather weeners are calling for low 90's sometime this coming week. I never thought I'd be happy to see a forecast calling for 90s!

Hell yeah, I'm in for 90's at this point! I made it to the gun show, bought a vibratory tumbler, and some 7.62X54R ammo from SGAMMO.COM and that's about it, worked on my dad's car for a few minutes...Now I'm trying out my new tumbler..

I have a Frankfort vibratory tumbler I use in my metal shop. Now I'll be able to clean my brass too! :) I got a good deal on some 7.62 Tokarev ammo (70 round box for $10!) and an ok deal on some .380ACP. I saw more than a few odd things at the show I'd have liked to had but sadly the wallet is thin these days.

Just got back from my walk. I'm feeling dizzy. To damn hot.

Yeah, still to hot for me since I will be in it all week.....Yeah, I was looking at a Rock Island Compact for my dad for $409, but I just wasn't feeling it, I'm supposed to be trading him for a couple plane tickets later this year...

Is the 7.62 Tok ammo corrosive?

The surplus stuff is. New manufacture by Sellier & Bellot, Winchester and Prvi are non corrosive and boxer primed so they can be reloaded. Big Boys ordered me a box of S&B that should be in Tuesday.

I shot up 50 rounds of the surplus stuff today. Got the gun cleaned right away once I got home. I should have taken all of it with me and used it up.
