I think im going to buy one in the $200-300 range to see if it is worth my time. I wont hunt with it unless i know i can make a clean shot and im comfortable with it.
"now this ain't no ****" precludes a lot of stories I've heard.
You guys look at crossbows if your not going to practice a lot, and be dedicated to the bow.
You lookin at compounds or traditional? Much like cartridge guns, a compounds learning curve is easier. I find traditional more challenging, tho.
I've only ever shot compounds so I was planning on starting and seeing how it goes. If I like it I will be upgrading if not I'm not out too much. I need to sleep I have work in 6 hours. This week has sucked due to changing shifts but still faking asleep at the "normal" time.
They are allowing small amounts during their zombie shoot. I don't recall what day it is though.
