I don't know of anyone that makes exactly what I would want, so here's the basic specs of the one on my wishlist.

Carbon Steel Government 5" 1911 srs 70 style.
No forward cuts.
Flat MSH
Novak LoMount night sights
Commander hammer
Beavertail grip safety
Non ambi extended thumb safety
Long trigger
Gloss blue finish

Right now I think the S&W are some of the best "entry level" 1911s on the market...reliability is top notch, accurate, overall great shootin' guns...

Technically speaking my favorite 1911 "model" is the Commander...

Now my dream 1911...thats another story, hopefully 'ol Mike @ Accurate Iron is gonna make this dream come true soon...
