Why vote 1911 if "practically speaking" you like the XD?
Because there was no XD option. 1911 is my first choice for coolest/classiest gun and the only other gun I compete with.
I love to shoot my S&W 686+ 6". Shoot .38's to plink. And not much can get away from the .357mag with Barnes hp's out at the ranch. Pigs, deer, coyotes, turtles, etc.....
