If you decide to buy a 12 rd mag for the Max, be aware that it may not hold 12. Mine has never made it past 11, and that was with a struggle.
And, with 11 rds, I had to struggle again to seat the mag.
I don’t like to overpressure a mag, so I just treat both my mags as 10 rounders.
I think if you put a 10 rounder side by side with a 12, they’re both the same size. Ruger just used different floor plates.
