Allegedly, policy holders own the "not-for-profit" companies as shareholders. Funny, I've received dividend checks from other insurance companies, but never from BCBS? I do however hear that BCBS employees get LARGE bonus checks if the company does well. Hmmm.... :(

One of the really sucky things is, that if the bill is repealed, the increase probably won't go away.

And that's why the *evil* insurance industry supported it...

ETA: I just opened mine. 45% increase. I got a list with mine, all related to Obamacare. Specifically, no lifetime maximum, restricted annual limit (none after 2014), and preventative services.

No, unfortunately we're on our own plan since I'm in business for myself. You're right on the tax thing if I recall, it will be taxed as income to you now.

Since you are an evil, rich business owner and buy insurance for your employee (you), your employee (you) will be taxed on that "benefit" as income, after the employer (you) be taxed on the income as income, if no income is left to provide income a penalty shall be imposed on you, and (you for not having insurance).

Where are you reading that health insurance will no longer be a tax free benefit? I've only read that top tier plans will be taxed in out years, nothing this next year.
