"The time has come, America, to step up and ban these weapons. The other very important part of this bill is to ban large capacity ammunition feeding devices -- those that hold more than 10 rounds. We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds. And yet it's legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines. The fact that people like her are in positions of power, that people choose to put them there, and they are respected by many and allowed to speak with authority, is the core of my belief and gut feeling that we are on a irreversible decline.

Any real journalist should expose this behavior and shame it for the madness it is. Instead it is ignored or given prime time positive attention.

I do not disagree with any of your opinions of Sen Feinstein but I think she is using a figure of speech to describe her dislike of the idea that citizens can have standard capacity magazine for self defense purposes. That is the only interpretation that makes sense to me. Don't take her statement literally.

I figure it's her clumsy attempt at making a point, but taken with all her other comments gives us a look into her deeper ideology and way of viewing people and the world.
Just like her showing videos of fully automatic weapons in the committee hearings, either she's completely ignorant of the subject or she thinks citizens are, and will not look beyond her foolishness.

There are people that will not question her illogical comparison of hunting ducks to having a standard 30 round magazine for an AR15.

This is what bothers me.
