If you guys don't understand why stripped lowers are selling for $400 list one of yours on Gunbroker and watch the price soar. Buyers are setting the market.

Just because buyers set the market price doesn't mean you have to take advantage of them. I can assure you a lot of them that are paying the ridiculous prices for stripped lowers are new gun owners in a panic over a pending AWB. The media is making it out to be like we won't be able to own even a sling shot after Jan 22nd. I guess by justifying pricing gouging as it being a buyers market is how some LGS and gun enthusiast sleep at night.
DAMN SHAME
30-40% on product and 50-70% on accessoriesLet me ask you this, what percentage of profit do you feel is acceptable for a retail shop?
I can only shoot one at a time
30-40%
lol....please tell this to the local gun shop owner when walk into the shop so that they can raise their prices for you.
At 30% a Glock 19 would run $650
A Colt 6920 would run $1300
A M&P 9mm would run $625
A Ruger 10/22 would run $250
Lower Parts Kits $65 minimum.
Delton AR15 $780
Basic M&P 15-22 $610
All plus tax.
Wal Mart and Academy and other large stores are able to buy at distributor pricing and are selling to the public at near the same price that your LGS is paying. So yeah, we sleep a little better at night when prices go up.
