My 82 bronco had a plastic fuel tank covered by a thin steel skid plate. I buried it in quick sand once and got some small rocks between the skid plate and the tank. Over the years, they wore a hole in the tank so had to remove the skid plate, get the bb sized rocks out and put screws with silicone on them to seal the leak.

Toyotas dont carry two round bales and a cake box......just saying.......but yeah I get your point, they don't have many weak spots under there. :)

They do carry a heck of a load around the mountains though.
