^^^^ Very nice! 4 lbs 1 oz is especially appealing. I may have to get one of those....
Thanks MM...this is my first VQ barrel and I am a huge fan. 4 lbs 1 oz makes the rifle incredibly easy to swing (and more importantly stop swinging).
Beautiful gun CHL!
Thanks MM...It's gone through quite a few changes over the years (see photos below), but I'll be leaving it this way. I'm kind of digging the shark fin shape of the Apex hammer, but I'm sure that many people won't care for it. Getting rid of the MIM hammer and trigger with the faux case hardened finish helps the looks of the gun out a ton IMO. The bead blasted stainless .312 trigger matches the finish on the mount and cylinder release extremely well which really helps tie everything together. I lucked out and found the new takeoff forged trigger off an early 686 for $15 shipped on eBay.
Ran across these old pics on my computer today. A 617 and 17-6 (a 617 by another name) I used to own. "used to" are the operative words. Another case of "what was I thinking".
Lol, is that a 12-shooter?
I think your counter must be broken, Mac.
Lol, could be... but the pic is dark on my computer.
How many rounds does the one with the blonde grips hold?
