Thanks MM...this is my first VQ barrel and I am a huge fan. 4 lbs 1 oz makes the rifle incredibly easy to swing (and more importantly stop swinging).

Thanks MM...It's gone through quite a few changes over the years (see photos below), but I'll be leaving it this way. I'm kind of digging the shark fin shape of the Apex hammer, but I'm sure that many people won't care for it. Getting rid of the MIM hammer and trigger with the faux case hardened finish helps the looks of the gun out a ton IMO. The bead blasted stainless .312 trigger matches the finish on the mount and cylinder release extremely well which really helps tie everything together. I lucked out and found the new takeoff forged trigger off an early 686 for $15 shipped on eBay.
