I'm looking for a fixed blade knife to carry in the bag I take with me to work. I know nothing about knives, I have a 15 year old gerber folder and a spyderco that I carry and that's it. I would like to spend a max of around $60 for this. What would you recommend??

Is $60 to cheap? That's just the number in my head. Would I be better to jump in at $100-$150? This is something that will most likely never be used, but I still want a quality knife.

Love my SOG Force. Pretty sure I could cut through a car roof; very sturdy. Paid ~$98 with free shipping.

I like this. Were is the best place to buy? It's on amazon for $98, but as you know I have been burned by amazon before, so I don't really want to buy there. I would prefer local if possible.
