I actually prefer the PD-30 over the PD-32. I have way too much trouble getting the PD-32 turned the right way and then finding the stupid button to change the brightness and the fact that the PD-32 doesn't strobe. I bought the PD-32 because it was brighter. The PD-30 is just easier to use.

I agree the button to change levels is too difficult to find quickly. The PD32 does have strobe though as well as sos.
