It costs nothing to be polite and cordial. There is no excuse for not saying Please and Thank You.
When I tell someone Thank You, I irks me to hear No Problem in response.
It irks you that someone would respond with 'no problem' ?... Which means that to them-- it was not a problem to do, whatever they did for you, that you felt deserved a 'Thank You'.
I know on the internet, words without inflection & emotions can sound condescending.. I assure you im not trying to be, Just curious if that was a typo or not?
