Hopefully we get some of the rain that is predicted.

I have a 1/4 acre of clover seed just sitting in the dust. The existing clover has gone dormant but the deer are still feeding on what’s left. Some rain is desperately needed.

It looks like you have an 80% chance of rain coming. I'm irrigating my fields to keep my clover from going dormant and to germinate some rye. Thank God for my well with an unlimited supply of water.

It is past time to freshen your mineral lick for your deer this year. The second time to apply mineral will be in mid to late May.

Yes that calculation is spot on. I had not seen this formula before but this is what my 30 hp Kubota has been doing. Good post Bassin.

I have a 3 point 6 foot tiller I would rent for $50.00 a day, you come get it and be responsible for any damage. Be aware not all tractors will go slow enough for proper tiller operation. Usually not a problem with newer tractors but don't expect that Ford 8N to work with a Tiller.

Also in the process of selling off the implements I used when I was planting Sunflowers, plow, disk, spreader and sickel mower. PM for details.
