i disc & seed a lot of my trails on the farm, keeps em clean & funnels deer past ladder stands, and especially helps in bow season:

Birth of a food plot pix....

Had an area on the farm that always held lots of deer, but was pretty wooly, hard to access quietly....which is why the deer liked it i guess.

Did some scouting, starting finding these:

Buddy of mine had a tree shear, and i paid him to drag it down & put him to work:

He removed timber off a couple of acres for me, and added a road...i brought the tractor over & cleared it:

Went to the farm today to brush hog last years food plot of hard red winter wheat.
Had to mow 10’ Johnson grass to get in there.

Seed heads were full so no need to buy more this year, just till it in. May leave it lay for a few days to see if any dove have an interest. Even had a floorboard full of wheat seeds.

Then moved to location #2. More Johnson grass, but it’s all mowed clean.

I picked up seed from Deerslayer Friday - super nice guy!
Planted three plots with Buck Forage Oats and wheat. Overseeded two of them with the 4x4 mix.

I'm squeezed for time this year, so I needed to get them in the ground. Hopefully Mother Nature gives me the right kind of rain.
